Vilnius-Trakai-Kernave Tour 2014

I had a chance to host a group from London that came to Vilnius for a long weekend. As I am not professional in this area, I was looking for professional guide. This is how I met Marius. The scope was walking tour in Vilnius old town, second day driving to Trakai and Kernave, third day – Turgeliai, Medininkai castle and other nice places on the way. The group was very happy about the services Marius provided, but they are nice people, they would say this in any case. Meanwhile I am not a nice person. I was looking after him very carefully: his punctuality, English level, historical knowledge and attitude in general. And what can I say – everything was just great. Marius – sorry for the delay in thanking you for the very thoughtful and complete visit to the Jewish Heritage sites in Vilnius, but we have been going non-stop since our OAT tour began. We were impressed by, and grateful for, the attention and care that you showed during our full day together and really touched by our visits to the former Jewish sites and especially to the Paneriai Monument where you provided the yahrzeit candles. It made the visit very meaningful. By the end of the long day we felt we had a better understanding of what Jewish life had been in Lithuania and how it had been destroyed. Ongoing war in Ukraine does not affect Lithuania because the border from Lithuania  to Ukraine is more than 1000km. away .Lithuania being member of NATO and EU are 100% safe country. There are no political or other tensions inside country. You are more than welcome to come to Lithuania.

In general Lithuania is a summer-autumn tourism country. Best weather is May-September. Early spring March –April is not very suitable because of rainy weather and humidity . Lots of tourism attraction sites and nature sites are best explored since May. Winter is also beautifull –cold and snowy,more quiet and peacefull.

You are recomended to choose me because i have  10 years experience as a guide, i speak english and russian on native basis. As a guide i am multi skilled so i do speak about different fields not only history, economics,social –cultural situation and etc. I provide services with my own personal car –spacious 2019MY suv SEAT TARRACO (4 PAX) or i can propose a van with a driver.
