3 Jewish cemeteries with one working and Ohal Gaon where the religious Litvaks come to pray and like in the western wall put the notes.Former jewish districts on the Neris river banks.

Dinner at local restaurant SENOJI TROBELE- a small cozy Lithuanian cuisine restaurant where you can taste homemade bread,beer and lots of more -the best of our cuisine.
Free time - transfer to casino or night club or just for the night-life (optional)

Meeting at the hotel lobby

Trip to Kaunas (Kovno) - second biggest city in Lithuania, Kaunas ghetto and the IX fort - Jewish execution site.

On our way to Kaunas (Kovno) we will stop at:

Ponar memorial were Vilnius Jews were killed during the Holocaust.
The IX Fort- jewish execution memorial site and museum inside
Kaunas Old Town

Vilnius-Trakai-Kernave Tour 2014

I had a chance to host a group from London that came to Vilnius for a long weekend. As I am not professional in this area, I was looking for professional guide. This is how I met Marius. The scope was walking tour in Vilnius old town, second day driving to Trakai and Kernave, third day – Turgeliai, Medininkai castle and other nice places on the way. The group was very happy about the services Marius provided, but they are nice people, they would say this in any case. Meanwhile I am not a nice person. I was looking after him very carefully: his punctuality, English level, historical knowledge and attitude in general. And what can I say – everything was just great. Marius – sorry for the delay in thanking you for the very thoughtful and complete visit to the Jewish Heritage sites in Vilnius, but we have been going non-stop since our OAT tour began. We were impressed by, and grateful for, the attention and care that you showed during our full day together and really touched by our visits to the former Jewish sites and especially to the Paneriai Monument where you provided the yahrzeit candles. It made the visit very meaningful. By the end of the long day we felt we had a better understanding of what Jewish life had been in Lithuania and how it had been destroyed.
